We are planning a Jamboree and Party at Blitz Club. later this year. It is near Walthamstow in London.

Our Outsiders members are having fun and discussing things about their lives – as they can’t meet each other at our lunches. Some are using Zoom, WhatsApp etc.

We now have members who are running the club:  Dr Tuppy Owens, Chantelle Gamble and Eleni Stephani.

Dr Tuppy Owens is guiding newcomers to make Outsideders more and more popular and we now have over 700 members.

At last a member has left us some of money in his will, so that we could afford to give our volunteers a little money  for their travel expenses, if that is what they want. We can also stop worrying about money!

It is illegal not to support disabled people to enjoy the same pleasures as other people enjoy in the privacy of their own homes – Equality Act 2010 and Human Rights Act 1998

The NR Times published an article calling our founder, Dr Tuppy Owensa a pioneer – providing disabled peopleconfidence and a quality of life..

We are getting more events in the West Country and more lunches – in SE of England, North West of of England, Cambridge, Edinburgh, and hoping to have members in the USA running them in their locality.

Although we already have regular lunches in London, Birmingham, the South-West Country and the NE of England, we are hopiing to have them in South Wales, Manchester, and in the South East. Nikki Fox is the BBC disability correspondent and she is the only journalist to be interested in our club – she is, herself a wheelchair user. Other journalists only want to feature disabled people paying sex workers!

One of our trustees, Professor Claire de Than is setting up a channel which will feature small films featuring members enjoying each other’s company and discussions around dating and relationships between disabled people.
