Outsiders Picnic and Tuppy Celebration Day 9.8.25

For now to let you know the Celebration of Tuppy’s Life and annual Outsiders Picnic took place on Saturday 9th August and was the BEST.

With 60 attendees, the warmth of the sunshine matched the warmth of the tributes paid to Tuppy and between everyone. Around a large photo portrait of Tuppy laughing there was singing and dancing, speeches and life drawing. We feasted on cinnamon buns made at the local coffee hut and were shaded by a classy marquee with rose decorations and red velvet table cloths. Sparkling light jumped off the water of the River Thames nearby.

Thank you to everyone who made it happen by volunteering and attending.

Special thanks to Antony (Tuppy’s widow) and his sister Hania, Christopher and Jeremy Owens and the rest of Tuppy’s family, Holly Penfield (see her at Camden Club on Sunday 17th August) and Thierry Alexandre, Mouse and Lisa, Susan Quilliam, Val Clarke, Claire Forrester, Kian de la Cour and James Salisbury.

Tuppy, from your vantage point, we hope you enjoyed the spectacle.
